Oldenburg, Duchy. A I Class Friedrich-August-Kreuz, C.1915 Hold A Fine Miniature French Order(Friedrich August Kreuz I. Klasse). Instituted 24 September 1914 by Grand Duke Frederick Augustus II. (Issued 1914 1918). Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, presenting as a blackened Cross Patte, joined through the arms by a laurel wreath, with central raised initials of Frederick Augustus II, topped by Oldenburg Crown, with bottom date of 1914, unmarked, reverse with screw back apparatus featuring plate and nut, measuring 44. 70 mm (w) x 44. 41
